About Us

Hello everyone!

 

As you may have heard, Piccante at the Copper Room has opened inside the historic Charles Roe House!

​

As passionate foodies and business owners they promise to authentically marry Italian and Brazilian cuisines with a tapas-style service. The business is a three-way partnership by Haseena Casado, Haseena's partner and Head Chef Felipe Casado, and our family friend Salvatore Pagano.

 

Haseena and her husband are very familiar with the area after living in Prestbury for many years, where we started our first business and restaurant Lilac Cottage, on Prestbury's New Road. If you have visited us at Lilac Cottage before you may notice some of out best sellers on Piccante's new menu. We just couldn't resist!

Felipe is Brazillian with Italian descent on his mothers side and Salvatore is a native of Naples Italy meaning the marriage between Italian and Brazillian is food seamless! Our food consists of small plates that allow you try many of our dishes at once without feeling too full, as well as traditional pasta dishes and authentic Neapolitan food.

​

Pasta is very much on the table in Brazil, and you'll be able to get that here alongside homemade focaccia or pork Belly with honey and sesame. Signature dishes will include Arrosticini skewers - which are popular in Naples, and Espetinhos that are a firm favourite in Brazil.
